Are you ready for a totally different, totally life-changing summer? Being part of the staff at Eagles Nest Ranch is an amazing opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, while being challenged and encouraged yourself. Under anointed leadership, every team member will feel loved, mentored, and fathered. It is our goal, as Ranch leadership, to not just have a great staff here for the summer, but to pour into them emotionally and spiritually by being the trainers that we called to be. We will do this with our “Trainers” structure:
Teach- We teach those who are with us to own and model the vision.
- The vision is a Board Approved Directive for ENR and full time staff.
- The vision is implemented at staff training.
Reinforce- In everything we do we instill our values of Excellence, Nurture and Righteousness.
Authority is established by empowering the Camp Director.
Implementation- We liberate and equip our Camp Director by encouraging the building of a team, providing necessary funds, facilities, authority, and system of accountability.
Nucleus- We build the team, our purpose being to: Engage, Equip, Empower.
Embark upon the summer program.
Review- We evaluate the effectiveness of what we are doing and adjust accordingly during the summer program.
Shift- If it is necessary we correct our course to be most effective.
So with this in mind we will try our best to make sure that your summer with us will be a life changing two months for you and all you come in contact with. We have many paid and volunteer positions on any of our six different teams: Counselors, Wranglers, Recreation, Program, Kitchen, and Hospitality. You‘ve decided ENR is a great place to come for camp with the screamin‘ zipline, wicked paintball, outrageously crazy theme nights, and awesome chapel times. Why not take the next step and come for the summer as part of the SOS team?
SOS is our Summer of Service team for 15–17 year olds who are interested in becoming future camp staff. As part of the SOS team, you will learn leadership skills, camp staff skills, and grow in your relationship with God.
SOS is our Summer of Service team for 15–17 year olds who are interested in becoming future camp staff. As part of the SOS team, you will learn leadership skills, camp staff skills, and grow in your relationship with God.
Training for future camp staff is only the beginning of what SOS is about. We believe God is calling a generation of young people to stand strong for God‘s truth in a world that says truth is whatever you decide for yourself. We see God preparing an army of 21st Century gladiators, strong in spirit and character, who will fight for His truth. Our goal is to assist in the gladiator training.
How do we do this? We have three different areas of focus: 1) teaching/discussion; 2) practical application and learning; 3) missions outreach outside of Eagles Nest Ranch. The SOS team comes together for six-weeks, five are spent at ENR with involvement in the camp ministry. The last week team members are given the opportunity to share what they have been learning and allow God to stretch them further in a missions outreach.
